This is not the text of the Paris- (1645) and London Polyglott (1657), neither that of the Roman Catholic Propaganda version from Rome of 1671, neither the Jesuit version based mainly on the Latin Vulgate from Beirut of 1876-1878. The 20th and 21st century versions as the Arabic “Book of Life” (English equivalent “N.I.V.”), 1988 (whole Bible), the Jesuits revised Roman Catholic version of 1880, the Today`s Arabic version or Good News Arabic or Ecumenical Version of 1992, the Noble Gospel (NT in 1990, whole Bible in 1999), and the product of Muslims and Christians in the Gosepls and Acts called, “The True Meaning of the Gospel of Christ” are all rehashes of Rome`s Jesuit ecumenical text. The following text followes the Hebrew masoretic text and Greek Textus Receptus done by Smith and Van Dyke in Beirut, 1875, 4th printing. This version balances several translation virtues: it follows the original Hebrew and Greek texts very conscientiously, but yet uses idiomatic Arabic; it is simple and understandable, but yet is classical in vocabulary and grammar. It is the Bible used by Protestants and the Coptic (Orthodox) church from Egypt. It’s possible you have to rotate the file.

Morrisions New Testament 1814, Canton, China. The editio princeps of the NT in Chinese. Translated from the Greek Textus Receptus by Robert Morrison. R. Morrison (1782-1834) , who shares with Joshua Marshman from Careys Baptist missionary group in Serampore, India , the honour of being the father of the Chinese Bible, was the pioneer of Protestant Missions in China. Before he left England for China, he made a copy of a Chinese Biblical MS in the British Museum. This socalled Sloan MS contains a Gospel Harmony, and the greater part of the remainder of the NT, translated by Roman Catholic Missionaries. On arriving at Canton in 1807 Morrison began to prepare himself for translating the Scriptures, studying in secret with two Roman Catholic converts.By 1810 he made a definite beginning, publishing Acts, REVISING the MS in his hand and CORRECTING it with the help of the Greek. In some of the books Morrison based his work on the revised and corrected Sloan MS.

Czech

Czech Bible: The bible of Kralice was the first complete translation of the Bible from Hebrew and Greek into the Czech language. Translated by the “Unity of the Brethren” (i.e. Moravians) and printed in the town of Kralice in Oslavau, the first edition was published between the years 1579 and 1593. The third edition from 1613 is classic and till this day the most widely known and used Czech translation. The New Testament has been translated from Greek by Jan Blahoslav (1523-1571) and published in 1564. He became a Moravian Bishop in 1557 and his NT translation into Czech of 1564 was incorporated into the Bible of Kralice. His education brought him to the university ofWittenberg, Germany, from 1544 where he sat at the feet of Martin Luther and got acquainted with Philipp Melanchton.

Forword by the reprinter

Introduction to the AV 1611 with English readings in the margin of the worst, most corrupt, and satanically inspired MSS: Vaticanus, Sinaticus and Alexandrinus. (Codex Vaticanus (“B”) Codex Sinaiticus (א = Aleph), Codex Alexandrinus (“A”))

This covers and explains more than 80 % of the corrupt readings in the modern versions after 1850 in any language, without the reader necessarily being able to read Greek to spot the origin of these corruptions by using the marginal notes in this AV 1611 NT of 1868, made and compiled by the discoverer of that corrupt MS Sinaiticus, Tischendorf. This MS has two Apocryphal books in the NT, besides the fact that all three MSS have the Apocryphal books as part of the canon of the OT, which shows their doctrinal corrupt character.

This is a separate branch of the West Germanic language family (Dutch, Low German, German, Jiddish and African). Approx. 500.000 native speakers, mostly in the north of the Netherlands, where Frisian is an official language besides Dutch. At the most 12.000 people still speak Frisian in Germany. This Bible was translated into Frisian by Dr. Wumkes. He watched very closely at the Dutch Statenvertaling 1637 Bible and the English King James 1611. The New Testament was printed first in 1933. The complete Bible came out in 1943. As an act of resistance against the German occupier the whole first edition was sold out in one day. Over 40.000 copies were printed till in the 1960’s. Then Frisian churches decided that it was time to replace the Wumkes translation by a very corrupted, ecumenical bible in 1978. Fryske Wumkes Bibel

“Evangelische Deutsche Original-Bibel.

A diglot edition of the Bible. The canonical books of the O.T. are given in Hebrew and German; the Apocrypha are omitted; the N.T. is from the Greek Textus Receptus and German of Doctor Martin Luther. The German follows the Canstein editions , page for page, or rather column for column. Vol.1 is dated 1741; and vol.2, 1740.

A similar edition was printed in Halle, vom Waisenhaus with a introduction by G.A.Francke, dates 1741, with the exact same amount of pages of Bible text. Francke, a born-again Pietist, taught at the protestant university of Halle, founded an orphanage and Bible Institute and with the help of Karl Hildebrand von Canstein (1667-1719) published and circulated, in tract form and cheaply priced ,the Holy Scriptures in German of Martin Luther till the 20th century. He was also used to start the really first Protestant Mission which came from Halle University, the socalled Danish-Halle Mission.

Gothic & Anglo Saxon

The Gothic, Anglo-Saxon, Wycliffe and Tyndale Polyglot of the N.T. Gospels, by J. Bosworth, 1865. Info on the languages: Gothic, Old-, Middle- and Early Modern English. Gothic is an extinct East Germanic language. Mostly that is known about it is thanks to the Gothic Ulfilas-Bible, made after 348 AD in the region north-east of the river Danube. Ulfilas used the correct Greek manuscripts that were used in that area (nearConstantinople). The Gospels used in this book come from the Ulfilas-Bible. The only problem for Bosworth was that he didn’t found all the remaining texts of the Ulfilas already in 1865. The last speakers of Gothic died in the 18th century on the Crimea.

Anglo-Saxon is another word for Old-English, the form of English spoken between the 5th and 12th century in England. English is a North Sea Germanic language, together with Scottish Lowlands and Frisian. This North Sea Germanic is a separate branch of West Germanic (Dutch, Low German, German, Jiddish and African). These Anglo-Saxon Gospels are from 995 AD. The Wycliffe Gospels are written in 1389 in a form of English that is called Middle-English, spoken in England between 1200 and 1500. These Gospels come from Wycliffe’s Bible translation. The Tyndale Gospels are printed in 1526 in Early Modern-English (1500 till 1800). These Gospels come from Tyndale’s N.T. translation. He died a martyrs death for his work for the Lord, when the inquisition killed him in 1536. Gothic and Anglo-Saxon Gospels

Here follow the first five pages from a Hebrew NT of 1817. Made by the secretary of the London Jewish Society, Fry, assited by Collyer and other scholars on the basis of Hutters New Testament in his Nuremberg Polyglotts of 1599 and 1602/3, Germany. They only used biblical words, and translating O.T. quotations from the Greek Textus Receptus, not citing them directly from the O.T. as did Delitzsch later on. Delitzsch thereby repeating the same error 1500 years later as Origen made in Alexandria Egypt, but then in the reverse order. He translated the N.T. quotations in the O.T. from the Greek N.T. instead of from the Hebrew O.T.

Japanese

An account of the formation of the protestant Japanese Bible, Yokohama, 1888. It explains why the pure word of God never reached Japan, and was from the start heavily infected by German rationalism, through the unsaved English scholars working on the Revised Version (1881- 1884). See especially page 7, where the Committee sought to attain “uniformity and agreement in the syle of the whole book, quite equal to that of the Revised English Version” (the product of Westcott, Hort and Lightfoot).”from the best critical and grammatical works, and especially comparing their work with the REVISED VERSION OF THE ENGLISH SCRIPTURES”, as embodying the renderings of the most scholarly men of the time”. All later editions are based on this corrupt Japanese, English and Greek NT text, and later completely were based on Nestle`s Greek NT text (1917 Japanese edition), based on the Vaticanus MS. The only exception is the NAGAI YAKU Japanese NT of 1928, based on a TR Greek NT text.

Concerning the 1908 Japanese edition: actually the Moto yaku (“Original translation”) NT of 1880, has corrupted Alexandrian readings in Col.1:14, 1 Joh.5:7, Rom.1:16 and Rev.22:14,19. Concerning the romanized version by Hepburn, edition 1904, the following verses have been changed to corrupt Alexandrian readings:1 John 5:7, Rom.1:16, 8:1, Rev.22.14,19, 1 Tim.6:10 and 20. (1 Tim.3:16 and 6:5 are correct). The first complete japanese NT was translated by Nathan Brown of the A.B.M.U. assisted by T. Kawakatsu. In his explanatory note he writes that it is based upon the “oldest, existing manuscripts, …among them the most important are the Sinaitic and Vatican”. He continues to lie, in that he states, “all copies of the New Testament writings made before the time of Constantine have persihed.” The oldest Greek MSS are from the first century (eg P52 from the 2nd). “Two of the fourth remain, but they were inaccessible to the translators of our present English Bible.” Wrong, they were available to Erasmus, who was shown 365 readings from the Vatican MS by a friend after he published his first Greek NT, and he rejected ALL of them, plus they were available in Rome’s Latin Vulgate, since the 5th century A.D. “The MSS used by them were very imperfect.” In 2010 it is a fact that 99% of all MS evidence, more than 5500 MSS, support the text of Erasmus, Luther and the AV translators.

The Low-German Bugenhagen Bible (1545). Info on the language: Low-German West Germanic language Low-German forms together with Dutch, German, Jiddish, African, Frisian, English and Scottish Lowlands (the last three are forming a sub-branch within the group; North Seagermanic) the West Germanic language group. Linguistically Low-German stands between Dutch and German. During the middle-ages into the 16th century Low-German was one of the most important (economical) languages of Europe. That is why Luther’s German Bible was translated by his friend Bugenhagen into Low-German. Today approx. 10 million people in north Germany, and almost 2 million people in the north-east of theNetherlands still speak Low-German.
